Condensation and mould prevention

Ongoing evidence first, with optional structured support.

EnvIQ continuously monitors the conditions associated with condensation and mould risk. Residents receive current guidance; when a reported condensation concern is suitable for additional support, an optional 7-day plan can add daily steps and monitored progress.

The detail

Evidence that leads to a clearer next step.

01

Look beyond a visible symptom

Environmental monitoring can show when humidity remains elevated, when condensation is likely to recur and whether ventilation opportunities appear limited. It helps build a better brief for investigation.

02

Optional seven-day condensation support

A resident can report condensation in the EnvIQ platform and identify the affected room. Where the concern is suitable for additional structured support, EnvIQ can use current monitored indoor and outdoor conditions and relevant recent evidence to prepare an optional condition-relevant 7-day improvement plan. Guidance can also recognise extraction faults, heating limitations or other barriers outside a resident’s control.

03

Review whether action worked

The resident sees a practical daily step, why it may help and a simple check-in while EnvIQ compares progress with the previous seven days. The property team can follow the plan and sees a property-review recommendation when conditions do not clearly improve. Follow-up readings, check-ins and maintenance history remain connected in the record.

Clear limitations

Evidence supports judgement—it does not replace it.

EnvIQ provides environmental evidence and indicators to support decisions. It does not, by itself, diagnose a building defect or replace an appropriate professional inspection.
