EnvIQ connects indoor temperature, relative humidity, dew point and supported CO₂ readings with outdoor context to show persistent and temporary environmental patterns.
The detail
Indoor temperature and relative humidity are recorded regularly, with CO₂ available where supported sensors are installed. Outdoor temperature and humidity provide context. EnvIQ can derive dew point and vapour pressure without treating any one value as the complete answer.
Relative humidity depends on temperature, so an indoor percentage and an outdoor percentage do not by themselves show which air contains more moisture. Vapour pressure provides a more comparable estimate of moisture in the air. The indoor-outdoor difference can help indicate whether a short period of ventilation is likely to support drying.
Current conditions, trends over time, room comparisons and evidence confidence make it easier to understand when a concern is isolated, persistent or shared across a property.
Patterns may support current resident guidance, ventilation review, heating checks, maintenance prioritisation or a decision to commission further professional investigation. Ventilation guidance also needs fresh, well-placed readings and should consider extraction, safety and the risk of overcooling; the comparison cannot guarantee drying or diagnose a property defect.
Clear limitations
EnvIQ provides environmental evidence and indicators to support decisions. It does not, by itself, diagnose a building defect or replace an appropriate professional inspection.
