About EnvIQ
EnvIQ® is operated by Mersey Mould Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 15630690 at H S L Building, 437 Warrington Road, Rainhill, Prescot, England, L35 4LL.
By using this website or a free tool, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. You must be at least 18 to submit an enquiry or unlock a checker result.
What the public tools provide
The Free Mould Risk Checker and public content provide general, indicative environmental information based on the details entered and any available outdoor context. Results can be affected by incomplete, inaccurate or momentary readings.
They are not a building survey, diagnosis, risk assessment, medical opinion, legal advice, compliance determination or guarantee that a property is safe, free from defects or properly ventilated. Do not delay an appropriate inspection, repair or professional assessment because of a result.
Orders and service scope
EnvIQ accepts both fixed-price online orders and tailored enquiries. Before payment, the checkout, quotation or customer agreement will identify the service, hardware, installation responsibility, monitoring scope, price, delivery charge and any additional terms.
Installation may be completed by Mersey Mould Ltd, the customer or an approved contractor depending on the service and property.
Monitoring services
EnvIQ monitoring can help identify patterns, compare indoor and outdoor conditions, support practical guidance and document whether conditions change. Sensors and analysis have limitations and cannot by themselves establish the cause of damp, mould, poor air quality or a building defect.
Standard customers purchase the specified hardware and then pay a monthly platform subscription. Temporary-monitoring equipment remains the property of Mersey Mould Ltd. Service-specific written terms take priority where applicable and lawful.
Delivery, activation and subscription
Purchased hardware is normally delivered within 5–10 working days. The delivery charge is calculated and shown at checkout before payment.
The monthly subscription begins when hardware is delivered and renews on the monthly anniversary of delivery. For consumers, monitoring starts during the 14-day cancellation period only where they expressly request it; otherwise it begins after that period.
The subscription has a three-month minimum term. Notice may be given after the second month and takes effect after 30 days, so the earliest ordinary end date is the end of month three.
SIM connectivity commitment
No-Wi-Fi monitoring uses managed mobile connectivity. The first-year SIM commitment is £120, recovered through the subscription at £10 for each completed month.
If service ends before 12 completed months, the outstanding amount is £120 less £10 for each completed month. This reflects the remaining committed connectivity cost and will be shown before purchase.
Consumer cancellation rights
Consumers ordering online normally have 14 days from receiving purchased goods to cancel, subject to applicable law. To cancel, email support@enviq.co.uk. We will provide the correct return instructions for the order.
Where a consumer expressly requests monitoring during the cancellation period and then cancels, a proportionate amount may be charged for service already supplied. Hardware must be returned complete and in reasonable condition. These terms do not restrict statutory rights concerning faulty, misdescribed or unsuitable goods or services.
Temporary monitoring and deposits
Temporary environmental monitoring may require a £500 equipment deposit. It is returned within seven days after all devices are received and checked.
A reasonable deduction may be made for missing, damaged or incomplete equipment, but not fair wear and tear. Any deduction will be explained. The final report and recommendations are normally supplied within 10 working days after monitoring ends and the equipment is recovered, unless agreed otherwise.
Hardware warranty and failed payments
Purchased hardware includes a 12-month warranty against manufacturing faults. It excludes accidental damage, misuse, unauthorised modification and ordinary battery depletion, and does not replace statutory consumer rights.
Stripe processes payments. After a failed subscription payment, automated retries and notices may be issued. The customer has seven days to resolve the balance before platform access and monitoring may be suspended. Charges already due remain payable.

Extensive or recurring mould, leaks, serious disrepair, or health and safety concerns should be reported promptly through the appropriate landlord, housing provider, workplace, medical or professional channel.
